Lisa R. Miller was diagnosed with Common Variable Immune Deficiency in 2003. She graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University in 2005 with a BA in Theater. Upon graduation, she embarked on a journey as an adult patient.
After some relationship and insurance woes, she got connected with the broader PI patient community. In recent years, dissatisfied with the practical information available for adult patients, she embarked upon this project with Colin in 2017. Please note all content on this site written by Lisa is her own.
She currently works with academic medical centers on the implementation alternative payment models, as health care reimbursement shifts toward value-based care programs. In her spare time she enjoys bugging specialty pharmacies and insurance companies, crochet, reading, and fleece footie pajamas.
