Colin Seal

Colin Seal was diagnosed with Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID) in 1999. He graduated from Georgia State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in Managerial Sciences.

Colin was diagnosed as a teenager and has experienced some of the harsher sides of being a teenager with a chronic illness. After volunteering to mentor other teens with Primary Immunodeficiency Disease (the classification in which CVID falls), he went to work for a non-profit that supports other patients like himself.

Colin has also worked as a patient advocate for a large specialty pharmacy, and currently works with a large plasma manufacturer.

Please note that all material on this site written by Colin and any actions taken by Immune Competence are his own, and are not associated with his current employer or any of his previous employers.

Frustrated with the lack of day-to-day knowledge needed to manage a chronic illness, Colin started brainstorming with Lisa on how to fill that gap.

Colin enjoys any time he can with his family, from lazy Saturdays to traveling around the world. His favorite moments are silly moments with his wife and son.
