Colin Seal

Colin Seal was diagnosed with Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID) in 1999. He graduated from Georgia State University in 2010 with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus in Managerial Sciences. Colin was diagnosed as a teenager and has experienced some of the harsher sides of being a teenager with a chronic illness.

After volunteering to mentor other teens with a Primary Immunodeficiency Disease (the classification where CVID falls in to), he went to work for a non-profit that supports other patients like himself. Colin has also worked as a patient advocate for a large specialty pharmacy, and currently works with a large plasma manufacturer helping to make sure communities understand the importance of plasma donation and plasma derived medications. Please note all material on this site written by Colin, is his own, and is not associated with his current employer or any of his previous employers.

Frustrated with the lack of day to day knowledge needed to manage a chronic illness, Colin started brainstorming with Lisa on how fill that gap. Recently married, Colin enjoys traveling the world with his wife, lazy Saturdays at home with their dog Bane, and he has recently picked up photography.
